Wargaming America approached Off Base to collaborate with their internal marketing and advertising teams to create a creative campaign for their Spring 2013 initiative. World of Tanks, their flagship title, was about to receive an exciting update that significantly upgraded the gameplay experience. The challenge lay in crafting one encompassing message to hit their broad demographic targets.
Off Base assembled a cross-discipline team to craft a full-fledged marketing and awareness campaign with focusing on single moments of action. Our campaign encompassed a range of traditional and non-traditional media, including print and web, and incorporated production of video advertisements using real in-game resources. In the end, our campaign succeeded in drawing in both new players and lapsed veterans as they experience this significant upgrade to the World of Tanks experience.
