We provide services in instruction manual authoring, translation/localization, software evaluation, and custom publishing among others. An Editorial intern is invited to participate in all phases of a project's life cycle and are given the opportunity to learn important industry skills throughout the experience. Candidates should possess solid writing skills, have strong attention to detail, experience with MS Office, and be comfortable on all major gaming consoles. Design / Desktop Publishing experience (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.) a plus, but not necessary.
Off Base Productions is heavily involved with the design and creation of marketing and informational materials geared to the video game industry. Our design team is responsible for the creation of web sites, packaging, and print layout. During the internship, you will be invited to participate in a wide range of projects and gain valuable experience working in a professional environment. Candidates seeking consideration for the design internship should be capable of using the Adobe Creative Suite with high proficiency in PhotoShop, Illustrator, InDesign, DreamWeaver, and Flash. A functional knowledge of web languages (HTML, CSS, Action Script, JAVA script, PHP, and XML) is preferable.
Our internship program is ongoing. We bring in new candidates on a rotating basis. Interns must be available for a three-month period and be able to commit to 20 hours a week. Individuals applying internship experience toward academic credit can extend this timeframe based on school credit requirements (it is the applicant's responsibility to set up the internship with their respective schools).
